We're currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance Team. In this role, you will play a central role within finance, with responsibility for the US reporting, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • Managing financial reporting within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring reporting is timely, accurate and compliant with financial reporting standards, including balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
  • Overseeing the management reporting pack, ensuring contributions from other team members provide detailed analysis and commentary on results for business reporting.
  • Conducting financial reviews associated with payroll, bonus and share-based remuneration.
  • Managing cash flow reporting and medium-term business unit cash planning and reporting.
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the business to account for and report development revenues generated by the UK site.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the ERP system and related processes to act as the ERP expert within the Finance team.
  • Completing reporting analysis and commentary to explain variances within the Finance team for business reporting purposes.
  • Participating in the preparation of year-end audit documentation with the wider team.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in finance within an international or global business environment.
  • Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge, including financial reporting and ERP systems.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
