Scientific Assistant to the Process Development team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to the team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Preparing equipment for processing, including bioreactors, pH/DO probes, incubators, purification systems.
- Receiving deliveries, restocking & stock checking of consumables.
- Carrying out in-house preparation of tubing and connectors for processing.
- Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Raising engineering requests and chaperoning engineers whilst in the Laboratories.
- Cell seeding and cell count activities for analytical assays.
- Assisting in maintaining the health and safety compliance as applicable.
Qualifications
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent.
- A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
- The ability to think rationally and problem solve.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organised and motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
