What you’ll be doing as a live-in carer

As a live-in carer, you’ll provide companionship, personal care, and domestic support (cooking, cleaning, etc.) to help your client live well in the home they love. You’ll work with clients living with various conditions, developing your skills along the way. All placements are within 70 miles of Oxford, so travel is required and we will contribute towards your travel costs.

What you’ll need to be successful as a live-in carer

  • A minimum of 6 months experience doing hands on care including personal care
  • Previous experience with various conditions including: Dementia, Parkinsons, Stroke and EOL
  • Reliability, compassion, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to commit to 6 week placements, with many carers choosing longer stays
