With over 20 years experience of running successful Active Camps for children aged 4 -14 years, we are now recruiting summer staff to join our teams in Oxford, Witney, Banbury and Rugby. We are looking for Activity Leaders who will provide a safe, welcoming and fun place for children to relax, play and learn, to ensure that the highest possible standards are met, and children have a positive experience at the camp.

Dates: May Half Term 24-30 May 2025; Summer Holidays 12 July - 29 August 2025. You don't need to be available for the whole summer - ideally you will work for 3-5 weeks.
Hours: 8.15am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Rates of pay: £106.50 to £130 per day for Activity Leaders
Key Duties:
- Work as part of a team to devise and deliver a range of engaging and challenging activities for children aged 4 - 14 years. Our range of activities includes anything from arts and crafts, cooking and swimming to fun sports and games, plus wow activities like bouncy castles and archery.
- Follow signing in/out procedures to ensure the safe arrival of children at the camp and the safe delivery to parents and/or named carers at end of day.
- Supervise snack and lunch times.
- Keep children safe by following the camps policies and procedures at all times, particularly with regard to the Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.
- Keep premises clean and tidy, and take care of play and sports equipment.
Ideally you will:
- Have at least six months experience of working or volunteering with 4 - 14 year-old children in a play, school or similar environment.
- Be able to communicate at all levels, particularly with children.
- Be enthusiastic, and have a flexible and positive attitude to work.
- Be able to use your own initiative but also be comfortable working as part of a team.
- Be willing to undertake appropriate training.
