Oxfam is a global movement working to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam Shops are at the heart of the charity, raising vital funds and increasing public awareness. This role is for a Shop Manager who is the only paid staff member in an environment largely run by volunteers. The shop manager is commercially aware, constantly looking for new business opportunities, motivating teams and creating a safe and energised work environment. They set high standards, drive results and are accountable for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the shop team.
- Ensure business is commercially successful through effective retail processes and merchandising.
- Oversee financial reporting and manage the shop budget.
- Delegate responsibilities to volunteers and support them in running the shop.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and create a safe working environment.
