As a Retail Internal Audience Engagement Executive at Oxfam, you’ll play a central role in connecting, informing, and inspiring one of the largest and most passionate retail communities in the charity sector. Supporting the Retail Strategy and Transformation Team, along with wider Retail Support teams, you will coordinate and administer key projects and communication initiatives that strengthen engagement across our network of 800+ paid retail colleagues and 20,000 dedicated volunteers. You’ll help ensure that important updates, resources, and strategic priorities reach the right people in the right way, enabling our teams to deliver an exceptional retail experience that fuels Oxfam’s mission to end poverty. This is a role for someone who thrives on collaboration, organisation, and creative communication — someone who wants their work to have real social impact. This role is a fixed term 12-month maternity cover.
We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do. An ideal candidate for the role will also have:
- Organisational & time management: Able to work in an organised way, to plan own time, and adapt and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Information management & analysis: Able to handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail, using analytical skills to identify patterns, gaps/errors and opportunities.
- Communication skills: Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt message style and content according to audience, builds rapport.
- Attention to detail: Attention to detail, to ensure communications and reports are accurate and of high-quality.
