Role Overview: Data Protection Manager (Maternity Cover) – Oxfam GB. 12‑month fixed‑term post. You will manage the data protection team and oversee critical processes to ensure the organisation protects Data Subjects and complies with GDPR, handling large quantities of personal data from fundraising and programme activities.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating data protection activities across the organisation, ensuring that data handling practices are lawful and respectful, and working closely with the Head of Information Security & Data Protection and the Data Protection Officer to set team goals and direction.
Qualifications: Strong experience and knowledge of data protection law and ICO expectations. Commitment to working with the Head of Information Security & Data Protection and the Data Protection Officer to set goals and direction for the Privacy team.
