The Role
Oxfam is embarking on a major strategic initiative to transform the way financial reporting and accounting processes operate across the organisation. The Financial Reporting and Accounting Manual (FRAM) project is central to this ambition, enabling the Finance, Reporting and Planning (FRAP) team to work in a more agile, efficient, and business‑aligned way while ensuring full compliance with Oxfam’s statutory and regulatory requirements. As Finance Process Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering this transformation. Embedded within the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the FRAM project is delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard. You will work closely with stakeholders across Oxfam—including senior leaders—to understand current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help design future‑focused, fit‑for‑purpose financial procedures. A key part of the role will be supporting the Deputy CFO in defining the scope and structure of the new Financial Reporting Manual, ensuring it reflects organisational needs and enables more effective financial management. You will bring clarity, coordination, and insight to a complex change programme, helping to build a stronger, more responsive finance function that underpins Oxfam’s mission.
