Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for OGB’s influencing approach to Humanitarian Influencing across the UK.
  • Develop campaign and influencing strategy and manage stakeholder and political risk.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and drive change within a large, globally networked confederation.
  • Represent Oxfam externally in policy, influencing, lobbying and media work.

What we are looking for

  • Experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential.
  • Extensive knowledge of international humanitarian policy and practice issues and donor priorities.
  • Proven track record of leading successful influencing work including generating original ideas and innovative approaches.
  • Experience managing team budgets.
  • Experience mobilising internal stakeholders around a vision for a major area of work.
  • Experience using research data and learnings for programme and policy development.
  • Capacity to make complex information accessible to non‑technical audiences.
  • Sound judgement in complex situations.
