The Role:

We\'re looking for a passionate visual storyteller to help shape the narrative of Oxfam’s UK Influencing Strategy, People-Powered Campaigns, and Media Advocacy. In this exciting and impactful role, you’ll be the creative force behind the photography and film that inspires people to stand up, take action, and support Oxfam’s mission.

You’ll lead the visual direction of our campaigns—planning, producing, commissioning, and sometimes shooting or editing content yourself. Working closely with fellow producers and campaign teams, you\'ll contribute to major organisational moments and drive engagement through compelling, authentic visual content.

From crafting clear and strategic briefs for external partners to managing production budgets and logistics, you’ll ensure every story we tell is delivered with purpose and excellence.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam\'s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • This role may require you to organize or attend video shoots at short notice across the UK, but London in particular. Please note, shoots may also happen in the evening or during the weekend.
  • Strong visual communicator and storyteller, with the ability to edit video to a high standard.
  • Able to understand how to best respond to organisational priorities and opportunities.
  • Able to organise and deliver UK film and photo shoots to make Oxfam’s campaigns and influencing messages compelling (on e-mails, website, social media channels etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, for example, when Oxfam and partners are responding to an urgent external campaigning opportunity.
  • Able to be proactive in seeking and developing opportunities to advance Oxfam GB’s UK influencing goals.
