To find out additional information about our work please visit our website. What's the role? Working side by side with the Shop Manager, you'll help drive the success of the shop. You'll be a visible, hands-on leader who inspires the team, delivers a warm and welcoming customer experience, and helps the shop hit its sales and profit goals. What will you be doing? Leading by example and keeping customer service outstanding Encouraging great donations and keeping the stock room running smoothly Pricing and merchandising stock to create displays that make people want to browse and buy Supporting, training and developing colleagues, volunteers and work placements Helping with cash handling, banking and day-to-day shop administration Keeping the shop safe, clean and welcoming Supporting local marketing activity and building links with local businesses and community groups Making the most of our retail technology and systems What are we looking for? Previous retail experience, ideally in a fast-paced fashion environment, with a hands-on approach A team player who enjoys motivating others Experience of key holding and cash handling Good organisation, admin and numeracy skills Visual merchandising knowledge or experience Initiative, and confidence working on your own or as part of a team Bonus points for: an eye for vintage fashion or experience selling online You'll also need to be flexible with your hours, including some weekends and evenings, and you may occasionally travel within Ireland for district management meetings. You must be eligible to work in the UK. What's in it for you?
