The Role

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and implementation of the volunteering strategy at Oxfam Ireland. This includes delivering end-to-end volunteer experience from recruitment to exit, and working to enable a consistent and meaningful volunteer experience across Oxfam Ireland. Additionally providing administrative and operational support to volunteering.

About you

  • Planning & project management skills, delivering robust plans to achieve targets & objectives.
  • Experience of working collaboratively & establishing working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, influencing & negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work in a team with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to maintain monitoring systems, processes & ways of working.
  • Ability to manage resources & ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of volunteering best practice including legal, compliance & equality as well as emerging issues in all aspects of volunteering.
  • Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines.
