Job Purpose

Support the delivery and implementation of the volunteering strategy. Deliver the end-to-end volunteer experience from recruitment to exit. Work to enable consistent and meaningful volunteer experience across Oxfam Ireland. Provide administrative and operational support to volunteering.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Volunteering Strategy Manager and key stakeholders to monitor, review and report on key performance indicators and agreed objectives.
  • Support the development and delivery of impact measures, reporting and data capture to understand the landscape of volunteering and to understand areas for growth and improvement.
  • Support the stewardship of volunteers to hand off points with volunteer managers and safety-netting the volunteer experience and compliance, with insight driven improvements through the volunteering Platform (Rosterfy) and volunteering feedback insight.
  • Day-to-day running of key volunteer facing infrastructure and systems, including the volunteering platform, onboarding processes & resources, exiting processes.
  • Deliver a high-quality volunteering support offer aligned with the volunteering strategy and including the delivery of administrative and customer service volunteer experience and journey activities.
  • Act as a first point of contact for queries submitted to the Volunteering inbox, triaging, signposting, and dealing with general queries and correspondence to ensure a quality, professional, consistent, and timely response.
  • Support volunteer onboarding and induction activities and volunteer retention initiatives.
  • Assist with Thanking & Recognition initiatives and supporting resources/systems.
  • Support the work to ensure volunteers learning and development needs are met, ensuring volunteers are fully equipped and engaged for their role and safety netting Oxfam Ireland duty of care and compliance, working in partnership with the relevant teams.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate data to help understand progress against operational plans and performance.
