About the role - Digital Engagement Officer:
This role will play a critical part in strengthening how Oxfam connects with supporters across digital channels, driving meaningful engagement and long-term relationships in an increasingly competitive environment. By combining innovation, digital strategy, audience insight, ethical use of AI, and compelling storytelling, the role will maximise Oxfam Ireland's reach, impact and income.
This role is a cross-functional team across social media, content creation, graphic design, multimedia, digital strategy, and retail content execution, working under the strategic direction of the Director of Innovation.
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in digital marketing, communications, multimedia, data analytics or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience.
- Experience developing and delivering innovative, data-driven digital engagement strategies.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience across digital marketing (paid, owned and earned channels) and content production.
- Website and platform management (UX/UI, CMS, CRO).
- Experience using analytics, CRM and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of supporter/customer journeys, lifecycle marketing and omnichannel engagement.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex digital initiatives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing digital environment and identify opportunities for innovation.
