Please note: This role is only suitable for applicants aged 18 and over. At Oxfam, we sell pre‑loved items to raise funds for charities while giving customers a unique shopping experience. As a till volunteer you will be the friendly face of our shop, handling customer transactions and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere to keep customers coming back.

What does this role involve?

  • Chatting with customers and providing great service at the till.
  • Selecting, sorting, and pricing donated stock.
  • Visual merchandising: creating eye‑catching window and in‑store displays.
  • Accepting donations from the public, speaking to donors, and asking follow‑up questions.
  • Labeling donations to maximise income.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes as needed.

Who we’re looking for

  • Friendly, reliable, and on time, aged 18 or over.
  • Willing to learn and collaborate with a team.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and following instructions.
