As an Online Shop Volunteer you’ll be behind the scenes in our busy shop and learn all about selling donated gems through Oxfam’s unique Online Shop. You can get involved in everything from researching, describing, photographing, to posting. Best of all you’ll be raising vital funds to support people facing poverty around the world.
What you will be doing:
- Research donated items to find their value
- Prepare items to make the most of our donations
- Write accurate descriptions for the website
- Take quality photographs to attract online customers
- Pack and post online orders
- Specialise in the areas you are most passionate about

Eligibility:
The minimum age to volunteer with Oxfam is 14 years old. If a role is not suitable for someone under 18 we will happily try to find an alternative role. Parental consent and safeguarding considerations will be required for those under 18.

We want to make sure everyone feels safe in our shops. Our shops comply fully with regulations and we provide PPE.
