What happens next?
After you apply, the manager will invite you to an initial chat to discuss what you\’d like to do in the shop. Then you can meet the rest of the volunteer team and get involved in the area that interests you.
What you will be doing
- Undertaking shop-related tasks agreed with the Manager, e.g., selecting, sorting, and pricing donated stock
- Researching valuable, rare and antiquated stock
- Chatting to customers and providing great service at the till
- Visual merchandising: creating eye-catching window and in-store displays
- Photographing and listing items for the online shop
- Occasional lifting of boxes (we prioritise a safe working environment and provide health and safety training)
