You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Hamilton, Glasgow, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Paisley, Livingston. Other locations will also be considered.

Do you come from a Controls/PLC Engineering background and are looking for an autonomous role within a specialist manufacturing company offering an excellent benefits package and career development? In this role you will work to design and implement control systems for special-purpose machinery that is mainly used in the manufacturing space within a company who are passionate about employee investment and further development. The company are a specialist in their industry and supply their products across the globe, due to continued investment and expanding order books they are now looking to add an additional engineer to the team. This role would suit someone with previous controls engineering experience looking for a long-term permanent position.

The Role:

  • Working to design and implement control systems for special-purpose machinery
  • Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; Design and developing control systems, configuration and programming of PLCs, overseeing projects, providing technical support and solutions, documentation and much more.
  • Days Based Monday Friday (39 Hours)
  • The role will involve some travel to client sites across the globe
  • Excellent Benefits package
  • Further progression and training

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar role such as Controls Engineer, PLC Engineer, Automation or similar
  • Previous experience configuring/programming PLCs
  • Any experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLCs will be considered beneficial but not essential
  • Looking for a long term permanent position
