You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Glasgow, East Kilbride, Renfrew, Livingston, Paisley, Bridge of Weir. Other locations also considered.
Are you from a mechanical design background with experience working on the design of sheet metal products or special-purpose machinery and are looking for a role offering further technical progression? In this role you will work as a design engineer to design and produce special-purpose machinery for blue chip clients within a company well known for their excellent benefits package. The company is a specialist in their industry and supplies their product solutions to a range of blue chip clients across the world. This role would suit someone with previous experience as a design engineer looking for a long term permanent position within a growing and investing company.
The Role:
- In this role you will work as a Mechanical Design Engineer to produce a range of special purpose machinery.
- Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; design, CAD, bill of materials, development and much more.
- Working on projects from concept to completion Monday – Friday on site.
- Further progression and training available.
- Excellent benefits package.
The Person:
- A degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design or similar.
- Some previous experience in design of products like sheet metal or special purpose machinery will be considered beneficial.
- Previous experience in a CAD package such as Creo, Solidworks, Autocad, Inventor or similar.
- Looking for a long-term permanent position within an established and growing business.
