Manufacturing Engineer

£40,000 - £45, Days Holiday + Progression + Healthcare + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations:
East Kilbride, Glasgow, Rutherglen, Bishopbriggs, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge
. Other locations will also be considered.

Do you come from a manufacturing background with previous experience in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing and are looking to join an ambitious company in a key lead/supervisor role offering further progression and development.

In this role you will work to drive continuous improvement and improve performance within a company offering an excellent benefits package and continued staff investment.

The company are well established in their industry and supply their products to blue-chip clients across the world, due to ambitious growth plans they are now further looking to expand their teams.

This role would suit someone with a manufacturing background looking for a long-term permanent position.

The role:

  • Working as a Manufacturing Engineer/Supervisor to drive CI and increase output across a large-scale automotive systems company
  • Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; Continuous Improvement, New Product Introduction, Documentation, Lean Manufacturing, KPI\'s and much more.
  • Further progression and training
  • Days Based Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4pm Mon - Thurs) (Fri 7:30am - 1pm)
  • Excellent benefits package

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar level role such as Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or similar
  • Previous experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean methods
  • Any experience in a plastics-related industry or similar will be considered beneficial but not essential
  • Looking for a long term permanent position
