You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Winchester, Andover, Salisbury, Stockbridge, Southampton. Other locations also considered.
Are you from a welding/fabrication background, looking for the move into a quality-focused role offering further development within a growing company? In this role, you will inspect metal-based products to ensure they are manufactured to the client's specifications within a company that is passionate about continued employee investment. The company is a specialist in their sector and produces a bespoke range of products for clients across the UK. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to add a Quality and Procurement Coordinator to the team.
This role will suit either an experienced quality professional or someone from a fabrication/welding background looking for the next step in their career.
The Role:
- Work as a Quality and Procurement Coordinator within a specialist metal manufacturing company.
- The role is focused on quality with some elements of procurement as well.
- Further duties of the role will include but are not limited to; Quality & Inspection, Developing Quality systems, Procurement, documentation, working towards ISO9001 accreditation, understanding drawings, continuous improvement and much more.
- Work towards the implementation of ISO9001.
- Days Based (Monday - Friday) (8am - 5pm) (Friday 8am - 1pm).
- Further technical progression and development.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a metal fabrication/welding/aerospace/automotive or similar related industry.
- You will ideally have some previous quality experience OR be an experienced welder/fabricator looking for a step into a quality-focused role.
- Looking for a long term permanent position.
