My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major project at Elephant & Castle, delivering a key retail package within a wider regeneration scheme. This is an urgent requirement with the successful candidate needing to be in post before the end of June.
The Role
You will take ownership of a high-profile retail delivery package, working within a complex mixed-use regeneration environment. This is a client-facing role requiring confidence, resilience, and the ability to operate independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the package from planning through to completion
- Manage client relationships and project stakeholders across a live regeneration scheme
- Oversee programme, cost, quality, and risk management
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure successful delivery in line with project objectives and timelines
- Work autonomously while maintaining excellent communication across all parties
About You
We are looking for a proactive and experienced project leader who can hit the ground running. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience at Senior Project Manager level
- Strong background in retail delivery projects
- Experience in fit out and shell & core projects
- Wider commercial project experience (preferred for future long-term opportunities)
- Ability to manage challenging client relationships professionally and effectively
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Self-sufficient approach with the confidence to work autonomously
