Based in Southwark, this dynamic and ambitious consultancy has built an outstanding reputation delivering projects across some of the UK’s most iconic venues, including:
- The O2 Arena
- Sunderland’s Stadium of Light
- Several of London’s most recognised theatres and entertainment venues
With a strong pipeline of work and plans for continued growth, the business is now looking to appoint a senior hire who can bridge the gap between the Director and the wider team - someone capable of managing key client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and ultimately becoming a long-term leader within the business. This is not a role heavily focused on winning work, although business development skills and existing relationships would certainly be welcomed. Instead, the focus is on project leadership, client management, team development, and helping shape the future direction of the consultancy.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the commercial delivery of high-profile sports, entertainment, and arts projects
- Managing and developing key client accounts
- Acting as a senior figure within the business, supporting the Director in day-to-day leadership
- Mentoring and developing junior team members as the consultancy continues to grow
- Providing both pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
- Supporting the long-term strategic growth of the consultancy
The Opportunity
The owner is passionate about building a consultancy known for excellence within the entertainment and cultural sectors, moving away from more traditional markets and creating a genuinely exciting business and team culture. This role would suit someone looking for more than just a job title or salary increase - it is a genuine long-term opportunity for an ambitious senior QS who wants to play a key role in shaping and eventually helping lead a business. The culture is collaborative, social, and heavily client-facing, with staff regularly attending the venues, shows, and events they help deliver.
What’s on Offer
- £95,000 – £110,000 salary
- Performance-related bonus
- Private healthcare

Ideal Background
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience within consultancy/PQS environments
- Strong client management and project leadership skills
- Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
- Comfortable operating in a senior-facing/client-facing role
- MRICS preferred
- Genuine interest in sports, entertainment, music, theatre, or cultural projects would be a significant advantage
This is a rare chance to join a consultancy delivering genuinely exciting projects, while also positioning yourself as a future leader within the business.
