About Oxendon House Care Home

Oxendon House is located in the quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles south of Market Harborough). The home is set around an attractive country house, extended to maintain its character, providing homeliness and modern living accommodation. The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.

Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

  • Provide high-quality care and support for residents in daily living activities, including personal care, washing, dressing, and eating.
  • Promote residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect; support physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Complete Daily Charts to a high standard, aiming for 90%+ in monthly Daily Charts Audits.
  • Maintain current mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements as a Care Assistant:

  • Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
  • Reside 20 minutes or less near the care home.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • A caring and nurturing attitude.
  • A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
