We are looking for a hands-on
Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading by example while ensuring the warehouse runs safely, efficiently and accurately.
The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives while actively supporting day-to-day warehouse activities. Responsibilities include:
- Leading daily shift briefings and allocating workloads.
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately.
- Supervising goods-in, stock checks and inventory control.
- Coordinating deliveries and liaising with transport providers.
- Training and supporting team members.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and health & safety standards.
- Deputising for the Warehouse Manager when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
About You
- Previous warehouse experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing team performance and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (desirable).
- Forklift licence – ideally with a Reach Truck but Counterbalance would suffice.
- Physical Requirements - This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting, walking, bending, reaching and picking throughout the shift.
