Oxbridge Mathematics Tutors is a specialist maths tutoring agency. We work with GCSE and A-Level students , and with applicants preparing for Oxford and Cambridge mathematics — TMUA, STEP, ESAT and interviews . We are looking for mathematicians who have recently been through that process themselves.
What you'll be doing
- One-to-one online tuition in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, and admissions preparation (TMUA, STEP, ESAT, interviews)
- Writing a short lesson report after every session, shared with us and the student's parents
- Guiding students to produce their own work — we teach and mentor, we don't write personal statements or complete coursework
What we're looking for
- Current student or graduate of the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge, in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Strong A-Level results (Maths and Further Maths) and, ideally, your own TMUA, STEP or MAT experience
- A DBS check
- Willingness to complete our vetting: ID verification, academic credential checks, etc
- Reliable, professional communication with students and parents
Practical details
- Self-employed contractor
- £38 per hour
- You choose your own hours and accept only the work you want
