We are looking for a full-time receptionist/administrator to manage front-of-house and communications during our afternoon and evening opening hours at branches based in South-West London (New Malden, KT3 & Sutton, SM1). Both branches are situated close to the station, the high street and attractive local amenities.

About the role: The Student Support Officer (School Receptionist) is the welcoming face of OxBridge Centre - you will be the first and last person many of our customers will see in the branch. As the main point of contact for customers, you will spend your time ensuring students and parents are getting the most out of their tuition, any issues are resolved, and any unresolvable concerns are triaged to the appropriate colleague. We’re looking for people who deliver high-quality customer service and always strive to do more for the customer.

Your Responsibilities would include:

  • Providing bespoke/personalised Customer Service
  • Basic Student Account Management
  • Liaising with the finance team
  • Office and premises administration

  • Prompt resolution of issues raised
  • Customer Satisfaction on feedback received
  • Improved Customer Retention Rate

Successful applicants would ideally work full time, contracted for up to 35 hours a week. Shifts would be from 12.15pm-8.15pm on weekdays, and 9.30am-4.30pm on Saturdays.

Qualifications/Experience You should:

  • Have relevant customer-facing work experience
  • Have relevant receptionist/administrator experience
  • Have clear communication skills
  • Be organised and detail-oriented
  • Be committed to student education

It is preferred if you have:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Knowledge about UK examinations and curricula, particularly the 11+
  • A current DBS certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £23,000.00 per year. Potential for wages to rise based on performance appraisals.

Schedule: 8 hour shifts (including a 1 hr unpaid lunch) 5 days a week, between Monday - Saturday. Saturday availability required.

Ability to commute/relocate: New Malden, KT3 4AE Sutton, SM1 1SJ reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
