What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Set the strategic direction for the entire product function and deliver it with impact.
• Lead both product development and governance, overseeing compliance, innovation, and value delivery.
• Chair key committees, represent the business in high-level forums, and be a true champion for customer-centric product design.
• Redesign policy wording and customer journeys to be simpler, clearer, and more accessible.
• Drive Fair Value Assessments and product reviews in line with FCA requirements, particularly PROD 4 and the Consumer Duty.
• Collaborate with underwriting, distribution, and operations leaders to streamline and align product actions with business goals.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering innovation and continuous development.

What We\’re Looking For:

• Strong background in insurance product strategy, development, and governance in an FCA-regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice governance.
• A proven leader who can inspire teams and influence at senior levels.
• Clear commercial acumen combined with a commitment to customer fairness and regulatory compliance.
• Comfortable with policy wording, customer journey optimisation, and horizon scanning for future regulatory change.
