What you will be doing:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Develop project HSE plans, and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training and guidance to project teams and contractors.
- Support CDM compliance throughout project development and construction.
- Review HSE requirements within project contracts and documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
What you will bring:
- 3 years HSE experience within the renewable energy sector.
- Hold a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification/certification.
- Strong knowledge of solar, wind or BESS construction projects (other related experience will be considered).
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
- Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and high-risk construction activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
