The Company: OXBO are partnered with a fast-growing UK IPP delivering utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a Construction Project Manager.

What you will be doing:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk registers etc.
- Oversee EPC contractors to ensure compliance with contractual scope.
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across multiple work streams.
- Engage with landowners, stakeholders, and local communities.
- Conduct site visits and attend external meetings/events.
- Monitor and verify commissioning processes (FAT/SAT/SIT).
- Prepare reports for senior leadership and board-level review.
- General support of the delivery team and aiding in continuous improvement of delivery processes.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in renewables, energy infrastructure, or BESS projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles (PMP or PRINCE2 desirable).
- Experience working with contractors, landowners, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Knowledge of grid connections and UK energy infrastructure (desirable).
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
