The Company: OXBO are partnered with a fast-growing UK IPP delivering utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Construction Project Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk registers etc.
  • Oversee EPC contractors to ensure compliance with contractual scope.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across multiple work streams.
  • Engage with landowners, stakeholders, and local communities.
  • Conduct site visits and attend external meetings/events.
  • Monitor and verify commissioning processes (FAT/SAT/SIT).
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and board-level review.
  • General support of the delivery team and aiding in continuous improvement of delivery processes.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in renewables, energy infrastructure, or BESS projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (PMP or PRINCE2 desirable).
  • Experience working with contractors, landowners, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
  • Knowledge of grid connections and UK energy infrastructure (desirable).
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
