This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate/junior to enter the renewable energy industry!
As an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day activities involved in operating and maintaining large-scale solar farms.
This role places you at the heart of the O&M team, where you\’ll assist the efficient delivery of our on-site services and help maximise asset performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage field technician schedules for efficiency and prioritisation.
- Coordinate third-party contractors and ensure quality standards.
- Provide administrative support to field technicians (travel, equipment, vans).
- Handle technician requests, prioritise, and escalate issues.
- Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules (preventative, corrective and reactive).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance and system performance documentation.
- Organise and maintain O&M manuals for compliance and accessibility.
- Manage a structured filing system for O&M documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Coordinate and manage our platform for safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for chargeable services.
- Assist with preparing reports, ensuring data accuracy.
Requirements:
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- The ability to work in the UK.
- Administration/Coordination experience is a benefit.
- A high degree of organisational skill and computer proficiency is vital for monitoring, analysing, timekeeping, and reporting on all aspects of maintenance operations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word).
- Ability to analyse data to identify performance trends and support improvements.
- Accuracy in reporting, invoicing, and documentation.
