The role involves playing a central role in the execution of disposals initially, with exposure to acquisitions over time. The position offers a clear pathway into a broader Corporate Development role as the business continues to scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the deal execution process, ensuring timelines, milestones and governance requirements are met
- Coordinating internal teams, external advisors and counterparties throughout transactions
- Preparing and managing Information Memoranda and Virtual Data Rooms
- Supporting financial and commercial analysis, including review of financial models and offer comparisons
- Assisting with high-level assessment of bids and transaction structures
- Managing documentation, compliance and internal approvals
- Maintaining deal records, audit trails and reporting dashboards
- Monitoring market activity across energy and infrastructure M&A
You will not be expected to independently originate deals or lead negotiations, but will play a key role in ensuring transactions run smoothly and efficiently.
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Private Equity or Infrastructure investing
- Strong exposure to deal execution and process management
- Comfortable working with financial models, advisors and senior internal stakeholders
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, renewables or regulated assets is strongly preferred
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially minded
