OXBO are partnering with a fast-growing UK energy company that is transforming how large logistics and industrial sites power their operations. Following significant project wins and continued growth, the business is opening a new office in Leeds and is looking for an electrically qualified Project Manager to help deliver complex, cutting-edge energy infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to join a scaling company at an early stage of its northern expansion, where you will play a key role in delivering innovative distributed energy solutions and shaping the future of the Leeds office.
The OpportunityYou will lead the delivery of technically challenging energy projects for major logistics and industrial clients across the UK. These sites require bespoke energy solutions combining private networks, grid connections and on-site generation, making every project different. Working alongside internal engineering and construction teams, you will take projects from early design through to construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest technical standards.
Projects include combinations of:
- 11kV+ private electrical distribution networks
- Utility and DNO grid connections
- Solar PV generation
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Combined Heat & Power (CHP)
- Backup and resilience generation
- Managing complex DNO applications and grid connection processes
- Leading the full lifecycle delivery of multi-technology energy projects
- Coordinating internal design, engineering and construction teams
- Acting as the main client interface, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication
- Managing multiple projects across logistics and industrial sites
- Supporting the growth of the new Leeds office and mentoring junior team members
- Electrical engineering background or qualification
- Experience delivering energy, power or electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of utility connections and DNO processes
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across design and construction
- Comfortable managing projects across multiple UK sites
- Based in Leeds or within commuting distance (once office opens)
- Full right to work in the UK
