The CompanyOXBO are delighted to be continuing to work with this International Solar & BESS IPP. Having already added to their development team earlier in the year, they are now looking to add an Origination Manager to their Origination team.

In the role you will be responsible for helping to originate development opportunities to further advance their project pipeline in the UK.

The Role
  • Identify and secure organic solar PV opportunities across the UK
  • Use the in-house GIS support alongside land searching tools and software to identify and evaluate new solar opportunities and to continue to expand the project pipeline.
  • Coordination with GIS and grid connection teams to pursue site identification including the facilitation of grid discussions with the grid networks
  • Build partnerships with land agents and other stakeholders to aid site origination
  • Completion of site visits
  • Generate feasibility reports and risk assessments
  • Complete efficient and robust handover of projects from origination to development team
  • Lead initial discussions with landowners to identify new development opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with wider team to negotiate land agreements expediently and be a key point of escalation for commercial land matters
  • Prepare origination progress reports to aid internal reporting
Requirements
  • Experience in energy projects (preferably solar, battery storage and/or wind)
  • Experience in negotiating HoTs and Options to Lease
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient using the standard Microsoft Office software (primarily Word, Excel and MS Project)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Grid infrastructure/areas of capacity would be beneficial
  • Clean Driving License
