A UK energy consultancy are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist on the design and delivery of sustainable, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems for some major energy user clients across the UK.
Our client's solutions include HVAC upgrades, EV charging solutions, the electrification of heat and embedded renewable energy technologies. This is a new role born out of business growth and would suit someone who wants to grow their knowledge of electrical building design. This role is hybrid, with some travel to the offices in West Yorkshire and travel to sites across the UK (all site travel paid for).
As Junior Electrical Engineer, you'll assist on conducting energy audits on sites across the UK, with the ultimate aim of reducing the energy spend across the commercial portfolio. You'll work alongside your mechanical engineering counterparts, helping to consult and instruct design consultancies to put together a proposal to the client. You'll then assist in the delivery process of the energy efficiency measures installed on site.
About you
- Experience in the design and delivery of sustainable, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems (1+ years)
- Experience in HVAC design
- Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A UK driving licence
