As QHSE Manager you will lead and develop Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental frameworks across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As the QHSE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all projects, operations, and procedures align with the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining QHSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conducting regular site audits, risk assessments, and inspections across operational areas.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective/preventative actions are implemented.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring company-wide compliance with HSE and environmental legislation.
- Supporting operational teams with training, coaching, and development of safe working practices.
- Overseeing the company’s ISO systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and leading certification/recertification efforts.
- Preparing QHSE performance reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Promoting a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is professional, proactive, and passionate about creating safe, high-quality working environments. You will ideally bring:
- Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, ideally within engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or renewable energy.
- Proven experience in a QHSE leadership or management role.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence at all levels of the business.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to drive positive cultural change.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of UK HSE legislation and compliance standards.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to visit sites as required.
