A multinational renewable energy company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their London finance team. As Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for monthly reporting, forecasting and audit preparation for renewable energy assets across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare company and consolidated statutory accounts
  • Produce monthly management accounts and forecasts
  • Manage stock accounting and monitor project milestones
  • Prepare cashflow reports and fixed asset schedules
  • Calculate quarterly SWAP and land rent figures
  • Input into bank models and act as main finance contact
  • Ensure timely delivery of bank covenant reporting
  • Collate half-yearly bank reports for all entities
  • Assist with industry audits, impairment modelling, and statutory accounting memos
  • Conduct decommissioning analysis and annual budget calculations
  • Review community fund accounts and provide cross-functional finance support

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of accounting for renewable energy SPVs
  • Qualified accountant with solid financial acumen
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to prioritise under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a collaborative team player
  • Effective communication skills - both verbal and written
