Overview
A multi award winning UK scale up renewable energy supplier are seeking a Business Development Associate for their growing origination team. Within this team, you\’ll be responsible for the origination of renewable energy power purchase agreements for UK energy users.
Responsibilities
As Business Development Associate, you\’ll be responsible for driving business performance through origination and structured energy sales to drive gross margin and profitability. You\’ll be engaging with C&I energy users, owners for renewable assets, third party intermediaries, and associations looking to purchase clean energy at fair prices.
As Business Development Associate, you’ll manage and formulate long relationships with customers, collaborate with internal risk, finance, legal and operation teams to structure offers, participate in product development, market analysis, and opportunity identification and will represent the company at events.
Requirements
With a proven sales based track record (minimum 2 years) in the UK renewable energy and /or electricity markets, you’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong financial acumen, and a hunter mentality to uncover new revenue streams in volatile markets.
