Responsibilities
- The monitoring and controlling of temperature units within highly regulated laboratories.
- To liaise and work with Equipment Engineering team and external engineers to organize equipment servicing and equipment repair.
- Provide support for equipment maintenance including equipment files and service contracts.
- To calibrate key analytical equipment as per calibration schedules.
- To raise quality records including deviation, CAPA and change control.
- To clean and maintain the laboratory equipment and facilities.
- To operate an autoclave and dispose of waste materials.
- To lead the ASG pipette clinic including liaising with calibration team and troubleshooting.
- Oversee, maintain, and ensure quality of key stock consumables.
Qualifications
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent qualification level or able to demonstrate required skills gained within another workplace.
- Experience of maintaining aseptic technique & tissue culturing skills.
- Knowledge of equipment & instrument calibration.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized and motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
