Join Us in Changing Lives Located in Oxford, GB – OXB, a quality‑led viral vector CDMO, is recruiting for a Sample Coordinator II to support laboratory activities and high‑quality scientific work.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, labelling, tracking and storing PD samples, maintaining freezer inventories and check‑in/check‑out systems.
- Packaging and shipping samples to internal sites, subcontractors and clients, and managing couriers and shipment documentation.
- Coordinating analytical sample requests and ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate teams.
- Managing in‑process controls, standards, critical reagents and control materials, and communicating low stock as required.
- Liaising with subcontractors for external testing and resolving shipment discrepancies promptly.
- Developing and maintaining efficient systems for sample storage, traceability, labelling (including barcoding) and controlled disposal.
- Training colleagues in sample management procedures and writing/reviewing SOPs, RAs and OJTs.
Qualifications
- Maths & English GCSE as a minimum requirement.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
