We’re currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Equipment & Systems Specialist to join our Manufacturing team. In this role you’ll ensure that all equipment and computerised systems are compliant, safe, and maintained to support efficient batch delivery, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with high‑tech equipment, and being the go‑to person for technical queries, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact. Please note this role is an onsite opportunity which doesn’t require shift work.
Responsibilities
- Managing equipment documentation (audit trails, asset folders, user access).
- Controlling access to manufacturing systems and supporting trained personnel.
- Supporting equipment moves, installations, and validation lifecycle activities (URS, DQ, RQ, VRR, CST).
- Maintaining and updating asset materials such as logbooks and SOPs.
- Acting as a technical contact for Quality, Validation, Engineering, audits, and client queries.
- Working with equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and support purchasing/spares.
- Supporting equipment-related NPI activities, pre‑batch readiness, and shutdown periods.
- Participating in HAZOP reviews and acting as SME for equipment-related QMS records.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel across all Oxfordshire sites.
- STEM degree desirable or relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of GMP and cleanroom environments.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment such as bioreactors or chromatography systems.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (CAPA, CC, DEV).
- Ability to follow SOPs and complete cleanroom gowning qualification.
