We’re currently recruiting Biotechnologists at various levels to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will manufacture commercial and clinical‑grade viral vector batches within a GMP cleanroom facility, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Responsibilities

  • Upstream adherent and/or suspension mammalian cell culture, transfection and harvest of viral vector products.
  • Downstream processing including clarification, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration and fill/finish activities.
  • Ensuring batch success by working using good aseptic techniques.
  • Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining the GMP facility, including performing viable and non‑viable environmental monitoring.
  • Preparing growth media and stock solutions using portable mixing tanks.
  • Completing Batch Manufacturing Records in a timely manner throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and development of production processes.
  • Investigating quality incidents, deviations and improving procedures.
  • Working to high standards of health & safety.

Qualifications

  • Preferably working within a GMP manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential).
  • Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience of working within an aseptic environment (advantageous but not essential).
  • Self‑motivated with a strong focus on safety, quality, details, and results.
  • Good problem‑solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and computer literacy.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, late nights, and weekends when required.
