About The Role

We’re looking for a Midweight UX Digital Designer to join our growing team. You’ll work across a range of digital projects for retail and financial services clients, including new websites, complex decision‑based journeys and ongoing optimisation work. You’ll help produce original ideas in response to creative briefs, design websites and digital journeys, and contribute to conversion‑focused (CRO) solutions that balance strong visual craft with usability, performance and commercial impact. You’ll be comfortable owning design tasks end‑to‑end, collaborating closely with UX designers, developers and QA, and supporting the overall creative output of the agency through high‑quality, thoughtful design work. This role is ideal for a designer who’s moved beyond junior execution and is ready to take more ownership, while still keen to learn, refine their craft and grow within a design‑led, CRO‑aware agency environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing websites, landing pages and digital journeys across a range of clients and industries
  • Creating clean, intuitive UI designs with strong attention to layout, typography and visual hierarchy
  • Translating UX thinking and wireframes into polished, high‑fidelity designs
  • Delivering pixel‑perfect assets on time and to brief
  • Delivering and maintaining high‑quality artwork for ongoing, high‑volume consumer‑facing digital products, promotions and optimisation activity
  • Working within and contributing to design systems and component libraries
  • Designing mobile‑first, responsive experiences
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are feasible, accessible and build‑ready
  • Supporting CRO‑led design work, including iteration, optimisation and testing
  • Supporting client presentations and preparing presentation decks for external use, including concepts and case studies
  • Leading and contributing to design research activities, including competitor analysis, journey reviews and insight gathering
  • Understanding user problems and business challenges, and translating them into clear, usable and creative design solutions

Essential

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a digital design role (agency or in‑house)
  • Strong and inspiring portfolio showcasing your creative design work and how your creative solutions have delivered results for clients
  • High proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, shared libraries, prototyping and collaborative design workflows
  • Good working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator to support image editing, asset preparation and production‑ready outputs
  • Solid understanding of responsive and mobile‑first design
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design and accessibility fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of form and journey UI/UX, with experience designing conversion‑focused, user‑friendly digital flows
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts
  • Confidence working independently on defined tasks and projects
  • Great attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Flexible nature and confidence in working both autonomously and within a collaborative team
  • Passion for design and a commitment to continuous learning and growth
  • Strong UX thinking, with the ability to identify issues in journeys or flows and propose thoughtful, creative solutions

Nice to have

  • Understanding of CRO or performance‑led design
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or designing with development in mind
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers
  • Motion or interaction design experience
  • App design experience (iOS / Android or cross‑platform)

How You’ll Work

You’ll report into a senior UX designer and creative director and work closely with development and QA teams. You’ll have ownership over your work, with support and guidance when needed. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, challenge ideas and contribute creatively. You’ll work across multiple projects, balancing craft with pace.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Remote‑first working (UK‑based), with optional hybrid working in London
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful, performance‑driven digital projects
  • Supportive team environment with room to grow and progress
  • Exposure to the full digital delivery lifecycle — from concept to optimisation
