Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00 (37.5 hours per week) with one hour unpaid lunch break per day.
Summary of the role: The Maintenance Controller is responsible for coordinating all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the trailer fleet via the Maintenance Control Centre in Huddersfield. This includes authorising repair work through approved agents using the Key2 Fleet Management System, ensuring repairs are appropriate to reported defects, and issuing purchase orders within set authorisation limits.
Key duties:
- Have a clear understanding of the Companies, Maintenance Policy, Warranty Policy, Breakdown and Recovery Policy and Maintenance Control Centre Service Level Agreement.
- Ensure rectification work required is carried out by the appropriate repair agent or manufacturer depending on warranty or non-warranty work.
- For unscheduled maintenance including accident damage repairs, handle calls from dealers requesting authority to carry out maintenance repair work.
- Receive estimates via the generic e-mail box, review estimates, validate repairs utilising the Jaama Key2 Fleet Management System ensuring no repeat work and maximising warranty opportunities for both parts and labour.
- Adjudicate and approve repair and maintenance content.
