Working Hours and Shift Pattern:
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
- The work involves working Monday to Friday AM shifts, however some weekend working will be required.
- Shift start times will be changeable between Midnight and 7am.
- On occasion you may be required to cover PM Shifts and may be required to sleep out in your cab as a part of the role.
Pay:
- One off Joining Bonus of £3,000 for applicants with recent Bitumen experience (in the last 6 months), payable on completion of 6 months service.
- Hourly Rate £26.55 with a £2.12 supplement per hour for hours worked between 9pm and 4am.
- Weekend overtime paid at £44.60 per hour for overtime shifts which begin between 4.00 pm Friday and 6.00 pm Sunday.
- Guaranteed Annual Salary: £55,219.80.
- You are eligible to receive a London Allowance of £1,000 per annum, which is paid monthly in 12 equal instalments.
- In January of each year, you may be eligible to receive an Attendance Bonus of £1,000.
Selection Criteria:
- Essential: Candidates must;
- Hold a current LGV C+E licence. We are looking for actual driving experience, and not only how long you have held the licence.
- Hold an up to date and valid Driver Qualification Card.
- Have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence.
