Summary of the role:
As part of a busy team you will be planning bulk Gas and Aviation fuel deliveries and reporting to the Gas and Aviation Planning Manager. This role has direct responsibility for ensuring that customers are supplied with gas/fuel in the most safe and cost effective manner, whilst providing excellent customer service.
Our ideal candidate would have an gas or aviation planning or aviation customer service background with the ability to plan efficiently and fully optimise resources using a planning system. To be successful in this role you need very good attention to detail and be able to produce a plan in which all all our customer requirements are met. Given the nature of the industry this is dynamic planning and you have to be able to react to the changes that happen during the day so the ability to work under pressure and prioritise work load is essential. You must be confident and assertive with good interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with both customers and drivers.
Hours of work:Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or bank holiday working required (37.5 hours per week)
Requirements:
Essential:The successful individual will –
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Be proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office – Outlook and Excel.
- Have achieved a GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths and English, and educated to A-Level (or equivalent) standard.
- Have the ability to interpret data accordingly and to prioritise tasks in line with business needs.
- Be a team player who is able to work to individual and shared deadlines.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships
- Live within a commutable distance
Desirable:The successful individual will:
- Have an aviation planning or aviation customer service background
- Have working knowledge of WinDMS.
- Have access to your own transport.
- Have an understanding of Drivers Hours Regulations.
- Be CPC qualified, or hold other transport industry qualifications.
