Job Description

Owls Hall Environmental Ltd is recruiting for a Tanker Driver.

Owls Hall Environmental is a leading wastewater engineering business that is expanding, and we are looking to employ a full time skilled and experienced Vacuum Tanker HGV Driver to join our growing Team.

The successful candidate will hold an LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) Category C Driving Licence, with experience of the operation of a vacuum tanker and jetter. The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the vehicles are maintained in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally & externally and that the tankers are operated in a professional manner. Driving regular local routes, responsible for working independently and safely collecting and delivering sewage, often working alone for planned and reactive tasks. The candidate must be is responsible and reliable, able to assess risks and ensure they wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). The candidate will also need to be computer literate to send emails and log details onto our company fleet tablet system.

All candidates must have:

  • Previous LGV C experience required
  • Previous Tanker driving/wastewater experience
  • Less than 6 points on licence and no accidents in the last 3 years
  • Full CPC card
  • CSCS card / Water Jetting Association qualification
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A proactive attitude

Schedule:

  • Willingness to work 48 hours per week
  • Flexibility for optional overtime at weekends.
  • Must be available to work including weekends as part of a call out rota team.

Additional Information

  • You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
  • You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
  • You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
