About us Owls Hall Environmental is a leading wastewater engineering business that is expanding to help our customers to comply with the demands of new legislation. We have a fantastic opportunity for a stores controller to join our growing team. The candidate will be a well-organised person that is able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines as well as assist the Service Manager to manage the on-site facilities, including the showroom. About the position Key duties and responsibilities include: Overseeing the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to guarantee stock levels and timely fulfilment of orders Maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock management systems Ensuring outsourced products are of consistent quality and arrive as per specification and within budget, whilst meeting customers expectations Liaising with Planning, Sales and Operations departments to forecast supply and demand Analysing pricing structures to achieve competitive prices, making adjustments to benefit from pricing deals, ensuring that gross margins are met Supervising the maintenance of the warehouses/storerooms and ensuring proper arrangement of stock Preparing stock required by the installation teams Ensuring that the stores, workshop and yard are kept in a tidy and organised manner. Experience, skills and aptitude required: Minimum of two years work experience in a stores position Ability to support engineering team technically Attention to detail Clear communication skills Being able to work independently as well as building strong relationships with other teams Ability to prioritise own workload.
