We're looking for Autism Practitioners to join our Neurodiversity team. We're flexible and have part-time and full-time hours available. We have a range of options available - if you feel you meet the criteria please do apply and we can discuss options further.

As a member of the ND team, you’ll offer your expertise to support individuals through their assessment journey. You'll be working with a variety of clients to complete our Autism diagnostic assessments remotely and face to face.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing our patients with assessments and post-diagnostic support across the private sector and NHS-commissioned projects.
  • Attendance at MDTs.
  • Actively managing clinical risks, including identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential issues that may arise during your assessments.
  • Ensuring that all clinical documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards for compliance.
  • Providing post-assessment support, e.g. feedback.

We’d love it if you have:

  • Minimum of 12 months diagnostic experience.
  • ADOS-2 trained with experience of delivery (12 months experience).
  • ADI-R trained (with experience of conducting autism specific Developmental Histories).
  • Comfortable conducting sessions and associated administration via online platform and face to face if needed.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children.
  • A professional home working environment.
  • Clinical registration with HCPC or NMCC.
  • Strong understanding of DSM‑V and NICE diagnostic criteria and guidelines in relation to ASD.
  • IT skills to deliver remote assessments using online platforms such as MS Teams, our bespoke software and willingness to undertake additional training as required.
  • Clinical qualification and registration in: Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychology (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic), Mental Health/ Learning Disability Nursing, Social Work.
